For users
Pharmaloop's medicine dispenser machine acts as a secondary packaging for fractioned medication to reduce medication waste, aiding you in taking the correct amount of medication and lower the costs of medication.
Filling service
You can pick up the machine at the pharmacy where it's filled with the maximum required amount of medicine. The machine aids you in taking the correct amount of medication by keeping track of the dispensed amount of medication per day and the amount of medication left in the machine. This makes it easy for to check whether they already took their medication. Once the treatment is finished, the machine should be returned to the pharmacy where any leftover medication can be taken out and redistributed. This reduces medication waste and decreases the costs of the medication.
Sustainability
Pharmaloop's sees sustainability as a high priority as the whole concept is based on the reduction of medication waste. By your returning of leftover medication, they don't have to be thrown out and can never end up in our environment. The dispenser machines are designed to be durable and last many cycles. They are build utilizing recycled materials where possible and with their end-of-life in mind.
For insurance providers
Pharmaloop is leased directly with insurance companies, such that it is included in customer policies. By using the dispenser it is possible for the insurance to pay only for the necessary amount of medicine, avoiding waste on otherwise unused medication. This becomes both a financial and sustainable choice to be offered in policy plans.
Services provided
By requesting the Pharmaloop dispenser, insurance providers can be ensured of the availability of the dispensers across pharmacies where we operate, and also about the safety and legal compliance of it. On top of that, maintenance and its transportation costs are included in the leae, together with the safety equipment required.
Customer protection
Pharmaloop takes data security as a priority. The dispenser does not gather personal data, and data control remains with the pharmacies and insurance providers responsible for the lease. Information is collected only regarding usage time and amount of breakdowns that occur while using the dispenser. This is to regulate the amount of dispensers needed, increase or decrease the stock at certain pharmacies and ensure that Pharmaloop has enough resources and personnel to maintain and deliver all dispensers.
The dispenser will not use wifi, gps or Bluetooth; only the pharmacies can only change the name and number of medication on the screen using the protected USB port.
