Frequently asked questions
All people receiving fractioned prescribed medication can use our dispenser. This is the case for most types of medicine, except for opioids.
Pharmaloop allows for the specific amount of medication to be given, reducing waste on unused medication and its environmental impact while lowering the costs. Plus, it aids the user in taking the correct amount of medication and keeping track of it.
The dispenser is filled at the pharmacy with the user prescription and then picked up and used at home. When medication is needed, the user must pull the lever to get it dispensed, which updates the counter of medication used. After the treatment is finished, the dispenser is returned to the pharmacy. For questions about how the dispenser works, please refer to our instructions page

The dispenser operates with batteries, so it can be moved. Ideally it should be placed on a flat stable surface. If you are going outside, we recommend taking the medicine blisters individually instead of moving the dispenser.
Take the dispenser back to the pharmacy after you are finished with the treatment.
If you did not use all the medications in the dispenser, return it to the pharmacy inside. Do not take the leftover medication out.
The seals are for safety, ensuring that the medication has not been tampered with.
